Description
An incredible and rare vintage bakelite compact made during the 1930’s Art Deco era. It’s gorgeous two tone design features a finely carved butterscotch bakelite floral insert framed set into silver tone metal cover and a rich apple juice angled bottom.
The compact opens with a push button clasp that releases the lid to reveal a round mirror. The base has a powder well which contains some of it’s original loose, powder sieve and puff and fits elegantly in the palm of the hand.
