- Condition: Excellent Condition - any wear is very light. The case is in real nice shape as you can see. Some modest age and use indications but nothing significant. A couple small spots of wear to the gold tone finish . The powder is gone, no lipstick either . the comb has one of the end tines partially broken off , last pic Please view all the pics - if more are needed ask prior to purchase. Description
I have up for sale a wonderful , I would assume 1940s or there abouts , ladies guilloche lipstick /powder puff compact with back compartment for cigarettes small purse type combo. The front is guilloche with Red Roses decor , the sides and back are gold tone medal . It has a short carrying chain as you can see. It retains the original factory sticker that states the pieces was “Styled” by the SCHICK MFG CO New York . I am not sure if Schick manufactured it or what “Styled” actually means in this instance. There is also a little comb on the inside as you will notice in the pics, one of the tines is partially broken off. There is no longer any powder nor any lipstick .
The case measures approx 4″ x 3″ x 1″ . This is a small purse type of compact / cigarette case.
ONLY THROW OUT THE BOXES AND PACKAGING AFTER YOU HAVE INSPECTED THE ITEM OR ITEMS AND FIND NO DAMAGE other than what may be noted in the condition report or shown in the pics.
IN THE RARE EVENT YOU RECEIVED THE ITEM AND IT IS DAMAGED -CONTACT ME ASAP – KEEP THE BOX AND ALL PACKAGING MATERIALS JUST AS THE ITEM ARRIVED AS THEY WOULD BE NEEDED TO HELP PROCESS THE INSURANCE CLAIM. YOU WOULD BE REQUIRED TO HELP WITH THE INSURANCE CLAIM . SAVE THE BOX AND ALL PACKAGING ,PICS OF THE OUTER BOX AND INNER BOX , AND OF THE DAMAGED ITEM WOULD BE REQUIRED. WITHOUT THESE PICS, YOU WILL NOT GET A REFUND IF I CAN NOT PROCESS THE CLAIM – YOUR HELP IS REQUIRED. THIS IS PART OF YOUR RESPONSIBILITY WHEN IT COMES TO DAMAGE. I PACKAGE TO THE VERY BEST OF MY ABILITIES BUT SOMETIMES THINGS HAPPEN THAT ARE OUT OF OUR CONTROL.
